Abstract
The article analyses the importance of innovative approaches for improving the quality of education and the efficiency of the educational process of future specialists. The content of the category "readiness of a future specialist for innovative educational activities" is clarified. The components of readiness for innovation, which combine knowledge of modern technologies and teaching methods, the ability to adapt to changes in the educational environment and approaches that contribute to the creation of conditions for the effective formation of such readiness in the course "Theory and Methods of Teaching in Higher Education Institutions" are considered. They are the following: familiarization with innovative approaches, ethical aspects of innovation, formation of motives and practical skills for implementing innovations, interdisciplinary approach, collaborative learning, an assessment system that encourages students to think and act innovatively, reflect and self-evaluate, motivate professional development, adapt to change, stimulate initiative, engage in an innovative community, and support mentoring and counseling. The paper identifies strategies for building readiness that ensure the development of creative thinking, collaboration, and leadership skills of future professionals. Practical exercises, the development of interactive learning materials, pilot projects for the introduction of new methods, the creation of curricula using modern technologies and information and analytical reports, participation in professional networks and conferences aimed at an in-depth understanding of the processes and factors that influence the preparation of future professionals for efficient innovation in education are considered. It is concluded that the formation of readiness for innovative educational activities in future specialists at higher educational institutions allows students to acquire practical skills in the implementation of educational innovations and prepare for active participation in the modernization of the educational process, which is an important aspect of the modern educational paradigm of professional training
