Abstract
The article examines the possibilities of developing specialists’ civil culture in institutions of continuing education. In martial law conditions, it is suggested to organize distance training of specialists in asynchronous mode with electronic and cooperative learning technologies, taking into account the trainees’ readiness to use modern information and communication technologies of training. The experience of the development of specialists’ civic culture in the course of professional growth by means of electronic and cooperative learning, accumulated in Poltava Academy of Continuing Education named after M.V. Ostrogradskyi, in particular, at the Department of Philosophy and Economics of Education during the asynchronous mode of the round table «Civic and Social Competence: formation of a culture of democracy and reflexive competence» has been revealed.A conclusion has been drawn about the importance of creating and maintaining a civic-oriented learning environment. It is based on the analysis of electronic and cooperative learning possibilities for the development of specialists’ civic culture in institutions of continuing education as subjects of the process of professional development. The created socially-oriented environment of continuous education is interpreted as follows: it helps the specialist to understand the level of their civic culture and themselves as professionals and individuals. Electronic and cooperative learning in martial law conditions ensures the formation of a holistic constructive civic worldview based on the disclosure of basic moral norms and civic life values inherent in domestic and European cultures. Thanks to it, during the round table, the listeners will be able to find the meaning of their lives and professional activity and understand that their professional life contains positive principles of civic culture
